Not sure the point of it. Yes the gTLD concept is foolish and yes it is destined to fail, but not sure what that video had to do with anything.
Students of history are well aware that the new gTLDs will soon all go the way of .aero, .travel, .mobil and .ccop.
er…i meant .coop. Also, let us not forget .tel, .pro, .cat, .jobs, .museum, info and soon…yes, .xxx. I agree with the video’s point that this extended delay is only helping GoDaddy sell .CO, but they too will have a short life expectancy. Only .COM will come out of this intact since there is always a demand for quality and traffic. The others all lack that and the new gtlds most certainly will.
I have now reached an agreement with Chancellor Hitler which, I believe, will assure new gtlds in our time.

The Verisign comment is appropriate…..while others registered .anything and .garbage, Verisign registered the their “.com” and “.net” brands in a multiple of foreign scripts and languages including Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Arabic and a few other top languages.
