Go Daddy building big new facility in Arizona

Kevin Murphy, May 7, 2013, 18:19:37 (UTC), Domain Registrars

Go Daddy has “broken ground” on a new 150,000 square foot facility in Tempe, Arizona.

The new Global Technology Center will have room for 1,300 technology and customer care employees, the registrar said in a press release today. It expects to create 300 new jobs locally.

The construction project was ceremonially kicked off by CEO Blake Irving and Arizona governor Jan Brewer today.

Go Daddy is of course a native of the state, with its headquarters in Scottsdale.

The new two-story center will be located in Arizona State University Research Park, and is set for completion in 2014.

As reported, Blake Irving, the new CEO of Go Daddy, is going to have a new two-story facility and create 300 new jobs.

While all of this is happening, when I now call Go Daddy about my Executive Account, a lot of the people with whom I have interacted in the past have departed. To name a few, listed below are nine, VERY long time Go Daddy employees who are no longer there to support us.

With all of the PR being generated about the new leadership at Go Daddy, does anyone know why those providing support to domainers are leaving Go Daddy?
